This Crazy life of ours...

Sorry it has taken me so long to post new pictures of Lauren. This week has been incredibly hectic and stressful for the both of us. I am trying to settle Lauren into a new routine and it's hard when she tells me how much she loves and misses her Daddy every day! : ) Nana Coleen is coming back to Germany on Friday to help smooth out the time when Nate is away so the extra help is much needed and greatly appreciated! Gotta love that Nana : ) I have been trying to push Lauren to love tummy time more so that she can develop her motor skills even quicker than she already has. So far she can roll over, reach and grab toys, follow you with her eyes all over the room, and even giggle too ( although mostly in her sleep! ) Here are some pictures of our journey through her early childhood development lol Enjoy!

Mommmmm stop taking photos of me!

Enjoying her musical fish tank and falling asleep

The Lovely Lauren : )

Sorry for the recent delay in pictures, we've been very busy with me going back to work. I'm leaving for Iceland next week so I've had to work overtime since this will be a 45 day deployment. These are all the most recent and random pictures we've taken lately. Lauren will be 7 weeks old on Monday and she is almost 12 lbs! She gets her passport and birth certificate on the 28th and has her 2 month doctor visit on August 10th. She now smiles as a provoked response, not just because of gas. She also makes a whole spectrum of noises, specifically when we talk to her. Her hair has remained a dirty blonde and her eyes are a strong blue. Everyone will need to remind Jillian to update this blog while I'm gone lol!

Nothing's better than a nice bouncer

Lauren is getting Bigger

Lauren is going to be 5 weeks on Monday and she can already hold her head up for minutes at a time. She is perfect and sleeps for 6 hours at a time when we're lucky. She's on a great schedule and is now beginning to make new sounds and facial expressions. Below are pictures of her favorite place to fall asleep, our bed, and a video of her just making noises so enjoy :)

Waking Up

Besides putting her to bed waking her up is our favorite moment of the day because she seems to experience such a wide range of emotions. It usually takes Lauren 10-15 minutes to open her eyes and wake up! Blogspot only allows 100MB of video per clip uploaded so I can only record about a minute and thirty-five seconds of action. Otherwise I'd put whole movies of her on here.

Our 4th of July was pretty nice this year. It was a little hot but Lauren got to meet some new people at her very first BBQ. Later we all went to Capone (the Army Garrison on Vogelweh Air Base) and watched an awesome 30 min fireworks display that Lauren decided to sleep through. This is the morning after Independence Day:
